Our new “Optimize Route” button in the Trip Builder, helps you automatically reorder the stops in your trip for the shortest possible route–saving you time and reducing empty miles.
When and how to use the “Optimize route” feature?
Create a trip and add all loads you plan to deliver.
From the “Unsorted” section, use the + to add loads to the trip plan.
Make sure you set the first and last stop for the trip.
Click the “Optimize route” button at the top.
ℹ️ The stops will be arranged by shortest trip distance.
Notes & Tips:
Make sure the first and last stops are set – the feature only affects the stops in between.
The optimization is based on route distance, not time, cost, or load type.
After optimization, you can still manually adjust the trip.
